Resin Charm Necklace with Carnelian & Tigereye Beads Wire-wrapped in Antiqued Bronze Wire, adjustable

This wire-wrapped Carnelian & Tigereye Bead and Resin Charm necklace is from my new Mala-inspired line. It features 8mm beads carefully wrapped with my signature wire-wrapping style, highlighted with a handmade charm.

This particular piece features a detail from a Mongolian map detail. Lines of longitude and latitude crisscross ancient warriors on horse, sporting colors of deep reds, bronzes and orange. The colors complement the warm tones of the Carnelian and Tiger Eye. Or maybe it’s the other way around? Regardless, map details have always been particularly popular in my resin charm pieces. I don’t reproduce the charms, so they are each totally unique and one-of-a-kind.

Mala necklaces are used for meditation, like a rosary. This is not a mala necklace, per se, it is inspired by the idea of Malas. A Mala includes 108 beads, or a smaller divisible number of 108, like 54, 28, all the way down to 9 or even 3, the ultimate sacred number. Necklaces from this line have 9 beads on each side, leading down to a main “guru” bead, from which a homemade charm hangs.

Each is adjustable by way of an adjusting chain, accented with 9 4-5mm accent beads, more Carnelian, Tiger Eye and pyrite (a favorite!) Metal materials are nickel and tarnish-free antiqued bronze, including the wire, charm, chain and clasp and are all easily cleaned with a dry or damp cloth. All beads are natural gemstones and carefully selected with care to complement both the colors and spirit of the charm.

Adjusts from 18 to 24 inches. Store either hanging or in your favorite jewelry box with plenty of space to breathe. Complementary earrings available.
