Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a catchall term used to describe most styles of yoga that are practiced in the US today, from traditional, slower-paced yoga to something with a little more motor behind it. Jennifer follows an overall Hatha approach style and applies classic poses, sequences and breathwork with a modern-day approach that can help all walks of life walk an easier life. She, and you, can turn it up or turn it down, depending on your needs. You decide

Group Office Yoga

Is your work team needing some group chill meet time each week to cure the COVID doldrums? Need help with aching joints & stiff backs from sitting at your device for extended hours? Contact Jennifer to set up a session with your team and she will cater the class to your teams’ specific needs. She can come to your location or we can set up a Zoom session, your choice

Live Yoga in Arlington

If you are interested in getting back out on the streets and practice yoga live, but perhaps your budget is a bit limited, try taking classes through Arlington County at one of their many premier community centers, complete with a quiet but ample yoga space, some props (blocks & straps) with a variety of class, day, time & location options. Gentle & Restorative Yoga

Jennifer can appreciate the slower and more regenerative aspects of yoga and draws upon her knowledge of gentle yoga, Yin Yoga, adaptive yoga, T’ai Chi, Qi Gong, mindfulness and meditation to develop her own style of restorative yoga to help you find your way to rest, digest and decompress

Private Yoga

If you would like to schedule some one-on-one time, Jennifer has extensive experience teaching private sessions and can come to your home, meet via Zoom or make arrangements to meet at a local yoga studio in Arlington, VA for a small studio rental fee. We can meet once to kick start your practice or we can meet multiple times, your choice

Kids' Yoga

Trained with Radiant Child Yoga, Jennifer has extensive experience working with kids at studios, schools and community centers. She is excited to be teaching after school yoga again to kids at local schools in Arlington. If you would like to arrange a private session with one or more children or want to schedule a yoga party, contact Jennifer to arrange a date, time and theme and she will make arrangements through a local yoga studio

Why Yoga?

Why not? Really, what have you got to lose? We certainly have more time these days to tend to ourselves. Here are a few things you MIGHT lose:  Tight muscles, bad habits, distracted mind, pounds on the belly, back aches, headaches, oh, the list goes on. And there’s much to be gained, depending on how much you put into it. The great sage Patanjali defines yoga best: a settled mind. That’s why yoga. A settled mind. Doesn’t that sound good?
