Adjustable Charm necklace with Jadeite & Lemon Jade set in Antiqued Bronze

This necklace is from my new Mala-inspired line. Mala necklaces are used for meditation, like a rosary. This is not a mala necklace, per se, it is inspired by the idea of Malas. A Mala includes 108 beads, or a smaller divisible number of 108, like 54, 28, all the way down to 9 or even 3, the ultimate sacred number. Necklaces from this line have nine beads on each side, leading down to a main “guru” bead, from which a homemade charm hangs.

Each is adjustable with 9 smaller beads hanging from the adjusting chain. Metal materials are nickel and tarnish-free antiqued bronze, including the wire, charm, chain and clasp and are all easily cleaned with a dry or damp cloth. All beads are natural gemstones and carefully selected with care to complement both the colors and spirit of the charm.

This particular piece features exquisite jadeite and lemon jade beads hand wire-wrapped in antiqued bronze wire. Its clasp, extender chain, charm and wire are all made from nickel and tarnish-free antique bronzed wire. I make the charms by hand with resin and paper. This one features a flower detail from Alphonse Mucha, a famous Czech painter from the Art Nouveau period. This necklace is particularly earthy and would look great paired up with creams, tans, earthy greens, yellows and even taupe.

Adjustable from 18 to 23 inches. Store either hanging or in your favorite jewelry box with plenty of space to breathe. Complementary earrings available.
